Li-Lith

En ny fotografisk projekt tar formen - Li-lith

Faust: - Lilith? Vem är det?
Mefistofeles: -Adams fru, hans första. Akta dig för henne.
A lith print is a photographic printing process that uses standard black-and-white photographic paper with lithographic developer (often heavily diluted standard developer) to produce a print with dark shadows and soft, bright highlights.
Lilith (/ˈlɪlɪθ/; Hebrew: לִילִית‎‎ Lîlîṯ) is a figure in Jewish mythology, developed earliest in the Babylonian Talmud (3rd to 5th centuries). Lilith is a dangerous demon of the night, who is sexually wanton, and who steals babies in the darkness.

Florensfödd och bosatt i Jönköping sedan 12 år tillbaka.

Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between Jungian archetypes and vegetarian ethics.
With influences as diverse as Kafka and Roy Lichtenstein, new insights are manufactured from both traditional and modern structures. Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the zeitgeist. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corroded into a tragedy of defeat, leaving only a sense of chaos and the unlikelihood of a new reality. As wavering phenomena become clarified through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the edges of our future.
